Wash Park Living

Washington Park, Denver Colorado is an Amazing Community with one of the Best locations around the Denver area. The Diverse Mix of houses and Duplex's from Denver's past is an Architects dream and with all of the things to enjoy so close to Down Town Denver it is hard to beat!

The neighborhood generally referred to as "Wash Park" is often broken down into eastern and western sides: not only do both have their own neighborhood organizations and quite-different historical trajectories, but since 1972 official city statistics have tracked Washington Park West as separate from the easterly "Washington Park." The (eastern) Washington Park neighborhood has borders defined by the city of Denver as Downing Street, Cherry Creek, I-25, and University Boulevard. The public park is located within the neighborhood. (From Wikipedia)

One of the things that most people notice about Washington Park is the difference in the houses. Some of the smaller homes in Wash Park are less then 800sq feet total and some of the larger newly constructed homes can break the 5,000 sq foot mark and come with a phenomenal price tag as well. The Lot sizes are virtually all the same through East and West Wash Park with the majority being 4700-6000 sq feet. You will see some of the Larger homes have taken 2 lots to make up the space needed for Mini Mansions. Pop Tops in Denver are very popular in Wash Park with the extra space that the bungalows have offered in the attic. While the price point does not meet everyone's budget it sure is a great place to live.
